About SVSG

Samoa Victim Support Group (SVSG) is a non-governmental organisation that serves vulnerable populations through advocacy and casework, shelter for children, community awareness and violence prevention.

SVSG is the only organization in Samoa that provides shelter assistance for children victims of all forms of abuse and neglect.

We help the whole family and work to prevent violence through comprehensive community engagement. Through SVSG’s network of community volunteers, we look after vulnerable populations, underprivileged families, elderly and people with disabilities.

SVSG has become the voice of the voiceless and has been recognized for human rights defender work.

What we do

SVSG seeks to protect and promote the rights of victims and the most vulnerable populations such as women and children, specifically the right to be free from abuse.

Why we do

SVSG believes that greater awareness of the rights of the victims and the most vulnerable will provide civil society with the knowledge and tools to ensure these rights are upheld.

A proud, strong, and successful community does not tolerate any form of violence against women and children.
