SVSG is the only organization in Samoa that provides shelter assistance for children victims of all forms of abuse and neglect.
SVSG is committed to protecting children and their rights; hence the requirement for all SVSG personnel to comply with SVSG's Child Protection Policy and Code of Conduct.
SVSG is the main service provider for survivors of gender based violence in Samoa. SVSG is vocal in advocating for women’s rights .
SVSG has become the voice of the voiceless and has been recognized for human rights defender work.
What we do
SVSG seeks to protect and promote the rights of victims and the most vulnerable populations such as women and children, specifically the right to be free from abuse.
We help the whole family and work to prevent violence through comprehensive community engagement. Through SVSG’s network of community volunteers, we look after vulnerable populations, underprivileged families, elderly and people with disabilities.
SVSG is engaging Men & Boys to Break the Cycle of violence against women and girls.
Why we do
SVSG believes that greater awareness of the rights of the victims and the most vulnerable will provide civil society with the knowledge and tools to ensure these rights are upheld.
A proud, strong, and successful community does not tolerate any form of violence against women and children.
