While our doors remain open to receive our people requiring support, help and care, the same doors are bringing in those who wish to share their blessings, donating monetary and in kind, to assist with SVSG’s work. This is the love of God, shared through His people.
Over the week, Samoa Victim Support Group has been receiving walk in donors at the Office as well as scheduled visitors to the Campus of Hope.
We had Joe & Jemi McGuire and the children from Queensland Australia, who were in Samoa for a holiday and brought with them reading books and 2 knowledge notebooks for the children of hope. SVSG President thanked the McGuire personally, acknowledging their willingness to share their love with the vulnerable people of Samoa.
Then we had Lilomaiava Andrew & Madeline Fong of Skyview Villas & Accommodation sharing with the children at the Campus of Hope bags of clothes.
These will also assist SVSG with its welfare assistance to the underprivileged families in need of clothes. Thank you Lilomaiava and Madeline for sharing the love with the children at the shelters through this donation.
During the weekend, Pastor Lio and Palolo Paulo & Family from our SVSG Sydney sub-group spend the day with the children at the Campus as part of the family holiday here in Samoa.
They donated sports equipment and other supplies for the children, visited the babies at the Nursery, played games with the older children, fellowship with the children with disabilities and shared lunch with all of them.
“Thank you Cecilia Theodor, SVSG Sydney Director for coordinating the visit and for allowing the members of your family to share their love with the children.”
Siliniu Lina Chang, SVSG President.
