Remember Faamalosi! Some of you have helped through donations to bring Faamalosi to where he is now. We evacuated him 5 years ago into our shelter through a desperate request of his abandonment. At the time we had no experience or even proper training of caring for sick children.
Here he is with his big smile, expressing it all his gratefulness to all of you for helping him through his journey.
We will be posting his before and after photos of his remarkable and wonderful journey soon.
A mother of 2 is having enough from her jealous husband. She is only 23 but has been going through a hard time. Getting beaten and verbal abuse is something she lives with.
Her matter is in court now, and a Protection Order has also been issued against her husband.
She is back with her parents and attending counselling sessions.
Whilst everyone is celebrating New Year's Day, SVSG has been working round the clock in trying to identify what has been taken from our office. Our office was broked into through the window in our conference room, and some of our properties have been taken.
Matter is now with the Police.
Enjoy and have a peaceful day,
On the 28 December 2015. SVSG sheltered a young mother of 23 years old with her two children. She was physically abused by her husband who is now in police custody. Our records showed that similar incidents happened in 2013., 2014, March 2015.
Her own family disowned her and do not get along with her sister in laws. SVSG is now again faced with this difficult task, but nevertheless we will get around it through God's Grace.
From SVSG Samoa, wishing each and everyone a prosperous and safe New Year.
